St Mary’s Old Girls’ Tea 2018

20 November saw another special get together at St Mary’s. The Guild of St Mary’s Old Girls hosted some of their older Old Girls (from the Classes of 1940s through to the early 1970s) for a delightful tea and treats in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) foyer.

The Grade 2 and 3 girls of the Junior Primary Choir blew everybody away with their vibrant medley and, to end off the festive entertainment, the ladies were taken down memory lane and many joined in and sang along to the impromptu recital of the School Song.

Old photos were poured over and the dedicated Archives team managed to discover new facts and   stories through chats on the morning. Some of the Old Girls who joined on the day received a surprise hug from their granddaughters who currently attend St Mary’s.
